To Israel, with love

I’ve been hesitant to share my thoughts on the state of our world because who really has the words…. but greater than my hesitation I feel responsible to share.

The rage that has flooded our hearts after the murder of yet another black person is valid, however our protesting, our plans to take vengeance and our plans to move the country through our vote and by withholding our money WILL NOT remove the stain of sin that has been passed down from our ancestors.

I hear that you are tired, and exhausted. I hear that you are weary and angry. I hear that you are scared but I MUST share with you a HARD truth. It’s NOT going to end until we repent.

After the efforts of Martin, Malcom, Garvey and The Black Panthers, our economic ascension with the many Black Wall Streets and entrepreneurial efforts, our assimilation AND integration with the American/Westernized culture you would think after all of that and 401 years of being in this country we’d FINALLY be seen as equal…. but we are NOT!

Again I say It’s NOT going to end. Not until we wake up to who we really are and repent.

Many have decided that prayer is not enough but the real issue is that within our prayers we have not yet come to repentance. (2 Chronicles 7:14)
We move God at our command, decree and declare undeserved blessings and pick through scripture only choosing to consume what satisfies us. On the flip side we have rejected scripture believing the lie that it is the religion of the white man not knowing that the Bible is the blackest book in history. We’ve got to wake up Israel. We’ve sought every scholar to tell us who we are, learning our history through the lens of our oppressor and continue to deny the very book that tells the past, present and future of our people. We’ve got to wake up Israel.

It’s time to wake up Israel. Awake to who you are and awake to righteous and sin no more (1 Corinthians 15:34). Until we do that we will continue to be oppressed.

So what do we do?

• ✔️ Search the scriptures (ask God to show you your history. Deut. 28 is a good place to start)
• ✔️ REPENT (don’t just say sorry, TURN from what God deems sin)
• ✔️ Secure your eternity (you MUST be born again according to Acts 2:38, repentance of sins, water baptism in Jesus Name, be filled with the Holy Spirit w/the evidence of speaking in tongues)
• ✔️ Continue in the faith (find a church/congregation that is preaching and teaching the Word of God and CONTINUE in holiness and righteousness)
• ✔️ Wail, cry, mourn and pray for the repentance of the rest of the world.
